For the months of July and August, we are going to schedule only the monthly meeting of classes: foot of the month, Hop To It, both Samplers and the new block of the month–American Beauty. Check the “Schedule of Classes” page.
We will open our classroom several days and have open sewing, so that you can complete some of the projects that you have started in classes, but not completed! There will be a small charge and you must register, so that we have enough room and machines for everyone!
We will spend this extra time planning great fall classes and making new models!
The ”Stars Over Indiana” shop hop has ended!
If you did not purchase block kits and have now decided that you wish you had–we still have a few available. We also have the complete finishing kit available for purchase.

Pat Knoechel was here with us on Tuesday, June 22. This year’s lecture was on Quilt In A Day’s new book “American Barns”.

Every time you donate four pillowcases we will donate one yard of 50% off sale fabric to you as long as supplies last. This is, of course, retro-active for all of you who have already brought in pillowcases. Keep in mind that this charitable project is on-going throughout the year, so we will be continuing to accept donations throughout 2010. Also, since we believe in the old adage that “Charity begins at home”, the pillowcases turned in to the Nook will be donated locally. We hope that this will give you further incentive to burn down your stash and make someone who needs help feel loved.
