- You’ll notice that there are not many classes on the calendar for August. We know that you are getting ready for “back to school”, working the garden and yard and finishing everything you promised to do over the summer!
- August is a great time to schedule your “new owner’s class” for you Viking machine or serger–then you’ll be ready to start your holiday sewing!
Deb Strain, from Greenville, Ohio, a well know designer for MODA fabrics will be in our store on Saturday September the 20th at 11am for a lecture-demo explaining how her designs sketches get from the drawing board to actual fabric. She will also have a selection of note cards and gift items for sale that she designs. - We will be hosting a Sulky Seminar on “Secrets to Sucessful Stabilizing” in November on Saturday the 8th. There will be a session in the morning and afternoon.
- December will bring a “trunk show” of quilts from the new book “Victory Quilts” from Quilt in a Day. We will be offering classes from this book starting right after the first of the year.

**The new list of clases for August and September is listed under “Schedule of Classes”. Click on that tab and you will see to listing of topics being offered. Hover over a date and it will give you the name of the class; click and you will get the description, price and photo.
Quilting News
We have secured dates with Joyce Ponder from Oxford, Ohio to teach beginner’s quilt class starting September 9th on Tuesdays. The classes will run for 4 weeks and be offered at 2pm and 6pm. Fees and requirements are in the description on the calendar.
**Marla Spencer from Ohio, will teach a hand applique class and a hand quilting class starting in October. Watch for definite dates and times.
