Christmas In July
Hello everybody,
Boy what a beautiful day was Sunday. After a couple of dreary rainy days it was wonderful. I went bird watching and it was great! You sit and watch the birds and they do all the work and entertaining. Right up my alley.
Well, sitting in the sunshine and feeling the warm breezes blow certainly puts me in the Christmas spirit. Nothing makes me think holly like mowing the grass. But seriously, this coming weekend, July 30,31 and Aug. 1 will be our Christmas in July weekend. We have lots of beautiful fabric and models, cool books and patterns and many ideas for quick, yet thoughtful gifts. As I’ve said before, homemade is really nice because the person who receives knows that you think enough of them to give your time and energy to make a gift. Time and energy are in short supply in today’s world. There will demonstrations each day on how to quickly make these gifts and we’ll share our best timesaving tips.
Don’t forget Halloween. These fabrics will also receive the 15% discount and we have some great fabrics this year. The imps have been busy working on models in this area as well.
So bottom line, come the Nook next weekend and let us help you take care of Christmas and Halloween gifts. You can start sewing now and be done before the holiday rush. Maybe you’ll even be able to kick back and enjoy the Season! (like the kicking back part will happen!)
