Changing Seasons – Changing Store
Hello Everybody,
Well, it’s been another exciting week at the Stitching Nook. We got several new fabric racks, built them and filled them right up! (think Death March to Bataan)! No, really it was more fun than that. Vernon (Diana’s husband) even came up to help us and did a lot of ladder work. The pattern and book room now contains all the Christmas and Halloween fabric as well as some wonderful books and patterns. Just as a sidebar, you would think my jeans would be looser after all that exercise, but you’d be wrong. Not fair, not fair at all.

We hung new models while we were at it and contemplated hanging Lisa as well. That is the lovely Lisa you see peering over the new quilt in the window. And you think we don’t have fun at the Nook?! The quilt was made by Dianne Kaucher and is a pattern from Thimbleberries. Available for purchase of course.
Not much in the way of classes being offered this week, but you still have a small window of time to impact the classes being offered on the next schedule. If you have a request send it to Diana at stitchingnook@verizon.net. By the way, anytime you want a class that is not on the schedule, just find two more friends to take it with you and we will do our best to fit it in just for you. If the weather stays this hot, I’m for staying in and sewing!
That’s about it for this week, be sure to stop in and view all the changes we made to the store last week. Check back next week for some exciting news and more updates. By the way, you might congratulate Diana and Vernon on forty years of wedded bliss this week when you stop in. Hope you’re having a great time,
Mary
