Fall in Indiana
Hi Guys,
Gosh I love Fall in Indiana, especially when the skies are that wonderful blue. I keep thinking that I’m going to reproduce those autumnal colors in a quilt, but somehow when I try to stick that clear blue in with all the mums and leaves ….it doesn’t work. Not giving up though.
The Stitching Nook will be a vendor at the Greenville Quilt Show next weekend, and I hear it’s going to be a great show. It’s on Fri. and Sat. but not on Sun. Call the store or stop in for details.
Anyone interested in the Orion’s Star Quilt should come to the Store and see the one Frances has made. It is made and set together exactly like mine and looks completely different. It is absolutely gorgeous and is done in blacks and tans with a fussy cut star center. Really beautiful. Lynsey Brubaker did a great job on the quilting as well.
For those of you who always loved the marking pencils and hand sewing needles from Roxanne, they’re back! Colonial company has purchased the rights and they are available again. I’m excited! I always loved her products.
Well, that’s all for now, and I hope you enjoy the fall weather and colors and tastes. We’re having a pumpkin pie today! Till next time,
Mary
