Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Everyone,

Ah, the week before Thanksgiving and already the smells of the season are in the air. (I tested out a new recipe for the Big Day). By the way, among the things for which we are thankful, all of you who come into the Nook are at the top of our list. Can’t thank you enough.

We have a couple of finish it up days on the calendar. Dec. 5 and 9 will be set aside to help you get projects done. We won’t stand over your shoulders, but we will help you if needed. Just let us know if you plan to attend so that we can set up machines.

For the batik lovers among you, we did get the promised shipment last week, and they are lovely. The line is called Close to My Heart and it is by Edyta Sitar from MODA. Some great colors and textures to play with.

Well, I know you’re busy and I suspect this week you’re more involved with food than fabric. More next time and of course, some last minute ideas for Christmas.

Somehow, I never thought I’d be the Grandma they were going over the river and through the woods to visit. Who knew we’d get older. But I certainly hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and take time to smell the turkey.

Mary
