12 days of Christmas December 6
Hellooo fellow elves,
Here we are, harried, stressed and wondering who ever invented gift-giving at the Holidays. Take heart weary shoppers! The Nook has yet another painless way to supply gifts for the sew-ers and an easy way out for the husbands, children, sibs etc. in your life. In our 12 days of Christmas promo, we will offer a discount at the end of the day and you just need to reply by 10:00 the next morning. All the details of this great idea are in your e-mail from Diana. Just follow the steps laid out there and we’ll take care of the rest. I think it will be fun and if your husband is like mine, he’ll like this idea better than a gift certificate. Plus, you’ll be getting things that you really want!
I know that lately I’ve been telling you all, over and over, that you still have time to sew gifts for Christmas. I still believe that because I still have several things that I must get done before the big day. However, I also want to remind you that sewing is a wonderful way to relieve stress. The other day I didn’t have the most perfect day and went to the sewing room to try to do something useful. I had the most wonderful evening just sewing away all my issues. So, I guess what I’m saying is, don’t forget to be nice to yourself this Christmas season. Work on something that you want to do just for yourself in your off moments and try really hard to enjoy the Season.
On a somewhat unrelated topic and in an effort to relieve stress I have a great easy, quick recipe. Buy the little mini tart shells, fill them half full of softened cream cheese, and fill the rest of way up with lemon, lime, orange or raspberry curd. Easy and Delish! My holiday gift to you faithful few readers.
Until next week, BE SURE TO READ YOUR E-Mail!
Mary
