Slow Sunday 3-21
Hi Nook Enthusiasts
Well, the Spring Cleaning Sale is history. The Sue Hausmann event is full to overflowing and the year is just beginning! But, never fear, we have lots of fun events still on the horizon. The next one would be Pat Knoechel (impressed that I could spell that aren’t you?) in late June. We are taking sign-ups on that one now.
We do still have a few machines looking for a good home. I know there is a Mega-Quilter that has barely been used. There is also a DI and I think a DII. There is an Emerald 203 that is almost new but was traded in on a Designer. These deserving machines long for a new family where they can feel wanted and after all, don’t we all like to feel needed? So call the store for adoption details. One nice thing, you don’t need a fenced-in yard for these little pets. No clean-up, either– if you get my drift.
A few new things have come into the Nook this week. We have a new change-purse pattern from Atkinson Designs called Cash and Carry and a new zipper assortment to go with it. Seriously, these are the neatest zippers!!!! About every color you can imagine and I think I measured them at 16 inches. Of course, you can cut them to any length needed. Must see.
Be sure to check the class listings and make sure you’re not missing out on any classes you need to hone your skills. I think there are some really interesting ones coming up. A few surprises are headed your way as well (good ones) so keep checking in by web or better yet, a personal visit.
See you soon,
Mary
