Newsy blog 5-2

Hello All,

Hope you’ve been enjoying the Mother’s Day bag stuffing. There have been some really new items offered and others that were just quite usable. Fun!

The Mother’s Day Shop Hop is going on as we speak. You can still take part in the fun by buying a passport and starting out. Passports now will be $6.00. Everyone works hard to make these “Hops” interesting, and if all the shops have as much new stuff as the Nook does, it should be a fun and educational experience. It’s too nasty to garden, but just right for a road trip.

Speaking of new stuff, Pam has brought a lovely pastel quilt into the Nook. When last I worked, it was on a quilt rack in the front window. It’s done in shades of pink and green and features peonies. Peonies are the state flower of Indiana you know. Anyway, you’ll want to see this quilt and of course, we have cut kits with an included pattern!

Sue Hausmann will be here soon and we’re really looking forward to seeing her! If you have signed up and for some horrible reason find yourself unable to come, please let us know. We do have a waiting list for seating. I’m quite looking forward to this and I think you’ll really enjoy seeing Sue in a more one-on-one environment.

Well, that’s all for now–grands await (rather impatiently I might add). Have a great week. I know I’m looking forward to it!

Until later,

Mary
