Foot of the Mont
h-Quilt
OK, you bought that wonderful sewing machine with all those decorative stitches and fascinating feet that you’ve never used. Each month you’ll make a different block using a different foot and decorative stitches. You’ll finally get to try out those stitches and feet and you’ll end up with a quilt. Sounds like a win-win to me. If you want all your background material to be the same, you should buy it before the first class, otherwise you can buy fat quarters monthly. American Beauty
This will be a block of the month program featuring the beautiful Maywood fabric “Wild Roses”. The pattern is by Marti Michell and the blocks are really fun to make. The blocks do require a Plexiglas template set that you will cut out using your rotary cutter. I know template is a dirty word, but I will show you very easy ways to use them and the plus side is a perfectly shaped and sized block. These blocks are not especially quick to make but are certainly not hard. This however, would not be a project for someone who has never before made a quilt. Come on, try something new and expand your quilting abilities. I promise you’ll have fun. Instructor: Mary We have the fabric for the “black” version
